Mango Greek Yogurt Smoothie (and Why It’s More Than Just a Sweet Treat)
There’s something about mangoes that instantly make you think of summer: They're sweet, juicy, and full of sunshine. I’ve been sipping on this Mango Greek Yogurt Smoothie ever since Amal Zayed (Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and smoothie magician) shared it with me for my May newsletter. And I loved it so much, I had to bring it here to the blog too.
This smoothie has actually become mine and my daughter’s favorite one! She often asks me to prepare it for her for breakfast. One day, I was out of mangoes and swapped in frozen pineapple instead, and it turned out just as tasty. It’s vibrant, nourishing, and incredibly versatile. I also love having it after a run, especially as a refreshing recovery drink on a hot summer day, ideally about an hour before a proper meal.
This smoothie has a perfect balance of flavor and nourishment: creamy Greek yogurt for protein, spinach for that green goodness, a touch of flax seeds for fiber and healthy fats, and a hint of cinnamon to spice things up. Plus, it blends like a dream and makes you feel amazing.

This smoothie isn’t just tasty—it’s functional. It supports digestion, balances blood sugar, and gives your body a gentle anti-inflammatory boost. That’s one of the reasons I’m so excited to co-host our upcoming event:
Yoga & Smoothies That Love You Back
🗓 Saturday, June 28th at Mala Yoga in Thalwil
We’ll begin with a calming, energizing summer-themed yoga practice (taught by me!), followed by a live smoothie workshop and tasting session with Amal. In two hours, you’ll nourish your body with movement and food—and leave feeling lighter, brighter, and more connected to yourself.
If you enjoyed this smoothie, you’ll love what we’re creating together at the event. Amal will be sharing even more recipes like this one (12 in total!) and teaching you how to build smoothies tailored to your goals—whether you’re looking for more energy, better digestion, or just a more nourishing snack.
